About Tony Ross

Tony Ross was born in London and studied at the Liverpool School of Art and Design. He has worked as a cartoonist, a graphic designer, as the Art Director of an advertising agency, and as Senior Lecturer in Art at Manchester Polytechnic. Tony is one of the most popular and successful children's illustrators of all time, best known for illustrating Horrid Henry and the works of David Walliams. Tony's books have been translated into 40 languages in over 100 countries. He lives in Macclesfield.

Not as entertaining as the last book I read (book 1) but still cute and funny. Henry doesn't always get his way and I think these books do a good job showing how horrible he is and that his bad behaviour doesn't go unpunished (except on a few occasions where it's somewhat justified). I have no idea why Horrid Henry series is loved by many people on Goodreads. Henry is just a mean boy, not funny, not clever etc. I gave 2/5 just because the book is not didactic on the contrary of many examples of children literature.......more
