This book used to be one of my favorite Redwalls, and it honestly still is. It may also be the source of my love of "young person has nobility unexpectedly thrust upon them; must figure out How Does One Royal?" plotlines. Or, one of the many sources for that. Whatever. Picked this up at the FPPL book sale- I LOVED this series as a kid. Read all the books and fantasized about being a member of the long patrol, feasting at Redwall Abbey, and exploring Mossflower wood. Was in the mood for a nostalgic read and going back to Mossflower was the perfect choice. This book holds up well to the series, is more of a quest one than battle driven, lots of fun.......more
