Kraken always felt different from her fellow tribe mates. When a secret is discovered about her at the Wave Festival, her greatest fears are realized and she meets a dark fate -- banishment from her tribe and the only home she has ever known. Alone and afraid, Kraken is thrust into the wildness to fend for herself and comes to learn of a dark force that threatens all the tribes. Mustering her courage, she runs toward the danger and the darkness intent on protecting those she loves.
