This is the first time reading anything by this author and I'm not sure if I will read any more of the author's work. I'm not sure if it is the writing style, I can't put my finger on it. I had an idea who the antagonist was for a good portion of the book so it wasn't super thrilling for me.......more

I enjoyed this book. It is slightly different to the rest of the books in the series in the fact that all of Jack's children have taken a step back and for this part of the story it is just him and his adopted daughter Emily. Not that Emily doesn't have her own problems, anorexia being the biggest.......more
