While heading back to Florida with evidence, lightning strikes her plane. As it careens into the ocean, she thinks she sees a pirate ship. What she finds is a dashing and most unlikely ally.Four centuries ago, Wolfaert Dircksen Van Ness captained a vessel for the Dutch West Indies Company. Then an unearthly storm in the Bermuda Triangle blew him into a parallel dimension. After rescuing Aliyana from a similar tempest, he finds himself drawn to the courageous beauty and wants to aid her mission. In the midst of danger, the two find themselves falling in love. Then a misunderstanding tears them apart, perhaps forever …

About Debbie Peterson

Debbie Peterson has always had a soft spot for fairy tales, the joy of falling in love, and happily ever after endings. Stories of love and make believe filled her head for as long as she can remember. However, it was her beloved husband who encouraged, cajoled, and inspired her to take up a pen and write some of them down. Her journey to published author could fill quite a few pages. However, in June of 2010, she submitted her debut novel Spirit of the Rebellion to the Wild Rose Press, her second to Inkspell Publishing, and the rest is history.

About Dawson McBride

The rumble of an American motorcycle and the deep tones of Dawson McBride have much in common as both are likely to stir something deep inside. Bringing an earthy growl and a passion for love stories, Dawson can be heard bringing life to bad boys, cowboys, and everything in between. A narrator who specializes in the production of audiobooks in the romance genre, Dawson is the romantic side of his alter-ego's brand. Much like automobile manufacturers who have more than one brand within their company, while his alter-ego may be best described as a Ford F-150, Dawson is more associated with the Lincoln Continental. Smooth and luxurious. He lives with his wife and daughter and they enjoy living in a small, quiet community in middle Tennessee.

This was a fun, exciting read! Historically speaking, I am not a sic-fi reader, unless the hook is original enough to grab my attention. And Debbie Peterson scored with me. I love time travel novels.
