Synopsis

THE NEXT INSTALLMENT IN THE PULSE-POUNDING GANNON SERIES FROM THE #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING COAUTHOR OF JAMES PATTERSON’S MICHAEL BENNETT SERIES

Mike Gannon always wanted to go to Alaska. That’s why when a bucket-list grizzly bear trip to the Klondike comes up, he’s on it with both feet. But as he arrives up in the northern wilds, he discovers other hunters are there. And they’re not looking for grizzly.

Soon Mike finds himself alone and captured on a corporate plane heading southbound for an incredibly lethal encounter that is about to blow his mind before it tries to blow him away.

Mike’s enemies are in the driver’s seat until they realize they overlooked one simple thing.

Some men are easy to handle, but there are other men who are…hard to break.

High octane action as Michael Gannon fights the forces who aim to take revenge on him, the only way they deem acceptable- put Gannon to death for once and for all. 3.5 stars, actually. I read and enjoyed the first book in this series but somehow missed the second; this, the third, was a bit disappointing compared with the first. Apparently, former Navy SEAL is on the outs with his former colleagues and is trying to remain under their radar. For too much of this......more

Sorry, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the two previous Mike Gannon books for their pacing, action and twists, but mostly for the Gannon character, a decent guy who got in over his head by keeping someone else’s money. This most recent book felt like a bad Bond movie, with an over-the-top scenario, mildly r......more

Michael Gannon and his son Declan have maintained a close bond throughout their lives. Despite Michael’s years of service as a former Marine and his previous career as a police officer, their relationship has been remarkably strong. As Declan embarks on his independence, Michael seeks to provide a m......more
