Eric A. Kimmel is a well-known folklorist and the author of numerous books for children, including Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins, a Caldecott Honor Book illustrated by Trina Schart Hyman, and The Rooster's Antlers: A Story of the Chinese Zodiac, illustrated by YongSheng Xuan. He lives in Oregon.
Laural Merlington is an Audie-nominated and Earphones award-winning narrator who has recorded and directed over two hundred titles, including works by Margaret Atwood and Alice Hoffman. She has performed and directed for thirty years in theaters throughout the country. In addition to her extensive theater and voiceover work, she teaches college in her home state of Michigan.
Mike Wohnoutka is the acclaimed illustrator of more than 20 children's books. His books include MOO!, an ALA Notable Book and Little Puppy and the Big Green Monster, which is his first book as both author and illustrator. His other titles have won numerous awards, including the National Jewish Book Award, Society of Illustrators Original Art Show, and the Beverly Cleary Children's Choice Award. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Mike lives with his wife and two children in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I really like the updated edition of this cute picture book about a case of mistaken identity during Hanukkah. The illustrations are great and it includes a latke recipe! I must take issue with Bear's choice of jam though..... :)......more
