Hammered

If you enjoyed the Death Before Dragon series, you will find Legacy of Magic continues this world with new characters and a new love story. And of course it is the narrator Vivienne who brings all the character to wonderful life. Sometimes I like Willard the best! I have listened to the entire series and for me it does not disappoint, I snort often with humor at snippy and snarky comments. I strongly feel the tender moments. (I confess I do get tired of the goblins, but it's more the voice that bugs me). Also if you like to know the image of the woman, you will find that the image of Matti is spread out. She is 5 ft 1. She is half dwarf, half Samoan. I would say the cover art is an actual depiction of the author's intention. One of the books does state she has dark hair and dark eyes. She is not that much into self deprecation as some reviewers state, imo, however when an average gal meets a knock out gorgeous guy, Elf, well, who might not question with self doubt?

I am kind of torn about this one. My biggest problem with this one is that way too much of it is basically just "Death Before Dragons".
