I wasn't sure how I felt about a D.E. Stevenson novel written from a man's point of view, but it was surprisingly good! I loved the close relationship of Gerald and his sister, Elizabeth (affectionately known as "Bess"). Even though they are only half brother and sister, they love, care and support......more
