Gloria Respress-Churchwell is an experienced children's author who specializes in sharing nonfiction stories. After receiving her master’s degree from Simmons University in literature and writing for children, she wrote Robert Churchwell, which is part of Churchwell’s permanent collection at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. She currently resides with her husband and children in New England.
