Certainly the sort to set precedent for T......more
Gregory Cynster has been drifting for a while and has been looking for his purpose in life. He has been bequeathed what he thinks is a country residence. His aunt has willed the Bellamy Hall and the farms around it to him. She died a few years ago and her companion has now died and the legacy comes......more
I've read quite a few of Ms. Laurens's books and find them hit or miss. She can be too flowery in her prose and redundant, repeating information numerous times. This is one of those, at least for me. The idea for the story is good. Gregory Cynster inherits Bellamy Hall, which turns out to be a coope......more
