Synopsis

How to live each day fully and faithfully present with God and with others, content in every season of life. Most of us feel that life is rushing past us. We reach the end of another day or week or year and wonder where it went. So we double down on trying to do more or do better―or distract ourselves with the many diversions the 21st century has to offer. But often we’re so busy thinking about the next thing that we’re at risk of missing the main thing: the people and places God has put in front of us, right here, right now. There is a better way to live. In this thought-provoking book, Adam Ramsey helps us to embrace the time and place we are in and to live each day fully and faithfully present with God and with others. Readers will discover fresh joy in the little things, freedom from the tyranny of time, and contentment in every season of life.

Adam does a great job of reminding us of who we are: flawed, limited, and......more

This book arrived in my life just when I needed it most. Lately, I've been wrestling with the feeling that time is slipping away too quickly, drowning in the busyness of daily life, and struggling to prioritize what truly matters. And if I'm honest, I've noticed myself spending way too much time min......more

Another 5 star review for Adam Ramsey - a really rich book full of truths about being faithfully present in our time and our place. Particularly enjoyed the chapter on being in a digital age, and the last chapters on eternity. I would have liked a few more examples of real practical application but......more

Adam’s writing is readable, relatable, and is fixated on the beauty of what is held out to us in Christ! This book wants to help us understand why Jesus has us where we are and the importance of being fully present wherever the Lord has us. This book will cause you to reflect on elements of time that......more
