I do not understand all the negative reviews. This is a book for high schoolers set in a high school. Not sure why people were expecting something else from a superhero YA. An exact secondary novel for this series. Just okay, but I didn't overly love or hate it. I was thankful for all the subtle refreshers to help me recall moments that didn't last in my memory from the first book. I liked this sequel to Faith: Taking Flight. I love what Julie Murphy does with faith as a fat and queer character! This was a little slow in parts and sometimes felt like not all the information was needed, and more action would have been better. I'm excited to see where Faith goes next!......more
