About The Author

Dr. Guy Prentiss Waters is the James M. Baird Jr. Professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Jackson, Miss. Dr. Waters studied at the University of Pennsylvania (B.A.), Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia (M.Div.), and Duke University (Ph.D.). His research and writing particularly focus on the letters and theology of Paul, the use of Scripture in the New Testament, and the Synoptic Gospels. Before accepting the call to RTS, he taught at Duke Divinity School and Belhaven College.

This book was a comforting read. Each page seeks to direct your eyes upward. Not only is it practical, but overwhelmingly biblical. Not one claim is made that isn’t supported by an abundance of scripture. I would recommend to anyone who struggles with the reality that they will one day die.......more
