About Norman Shealy, MD, PhD

C. Norman Shealy, MD, PhD (1932–2024), was president of Holos Institutes of Health, Inc., a nonprofit organization devoted to research, education, and clinical services in holistic health. A neurosurgeon trained at Massachusetts General Hospital after medical school at Duke University, he taught at Harvard, Western Reserve, the University of Wisconsin, the University of Minnesota, and Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. Dr. Shealy was the founding president of Holos University Graduate Seminary and served as professor emeritus of energy medicine (holosuniversity.org).
