A Performance Folktale

Listeners of the audio are transported into a digitally charged environment where sound effects, music and song, voiceovers, and animated vocalizations of animals, by this author, are mixed and mastered by The Vision Recordings to produce a satisfying auditory experience. The leap into this virtual atmosphere is an anomaly, where the performance folktale can be performed both on stage, in the classroom or virtually with the use of puppets, and props. In a postmodern world where aspects of our culture are internet driven, it is critical that cultural ambassadors find innovative ways to keep oral storytelling alive, and challenge the dominant discourse of social media in the 21st Century.
