Synopsis

Detective Inspector Gwen Danbury comes from a family of investigators. Her father was a policeman, and her mother Joan often discussed cases with him – on one occasion helping him to solve a tricky murder.

Listened to in audio format. I really enjoyed this and loved the relationship between Gwen and her mother Joan. The stories were cozy and very Midsomer Murders in nature. I liked Joan however her character was ruined for me when her part was played by Stephanie Cole. Stephanie Cole is a excellent actr......more

An okay listen, but the MC's weight was almost a character in itself. Tiresome, especially considering that the author is a woman. The cases were all right for housework listening.......more
