Bryan Johnston counted network affiliate television as his employer for twenty-five years, earning eleven regional Emmy awards as a writer and producer. He is the author of several Northwest-centric books and has written for numerous magazines and websites. He is currently the creative director for a Seattle creative agency. He is a born and bred Seattleite and lives there still with his wife, two teenage kids, and one large goldendoodle. His loves are sports, movies, and books. He's a middling golfer and used to have reasonable pop from the right side of the plate in his softball days. His favorite book is A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles; his favorite movie is Casablanca. Perhaps his greatest desire is to see the Seattle Mariners in the World Series in his lifetime. He is not holding his breath.
Justine Eyre is a classically trained actress who has narrated many audiobooks, earning the prestigious Audie Award for best narration and numerous Earphones Awards. She is multilingual and known for her great facility with accents. She has appeared on stage, with leading roles in King Lear and The Crucible, and has had starring roles in four films on the indie circuit. Her television credits include Two and a Half Men and Mad Men.
Holly Palance is an American actor and audiobook narrator who was born into a family where breakfast-table monologues, musical numbers, and one-arm pushups were the norm. After training at the Webber-Douglas Academy, she spent eight years performing on stage and television in London before continuing her career in the US. In 1976, she appeared in David Seltzer's The Omen. She currently works in film, behind the mic, and as a journalist.

People sign up to be killed on live television, and their dependent reaps the benefit of a big payout. The catch? With a combina......more
I’m typically very hesitant to read male authors writing women. But I’ve had some good luck lately and I was interested in the premise, so I thought I’d give it a chance. This book wasn’t worth it. Actually it was a waste of a good premise. The MC had super “not like other girls” vibes in a gross wa......more
I was thrilled that this story was just as good as advertised! Death Warrant is a popular television show that televises the live deaths of people who have signed up to be assassinated and leaves a benefactor financial security. Frankie, a mentalist performer, feels her brother, who was in a horribl......more
As a Big Brother super fan and someone in withdrawals from Faith Gardner's Jolvix series, there was no way I could miss this dark and twisted social experiment and dystopian technothriller. Decades from now, in a futuristic but still quite flawed world, desperate people have a new way to make money.......more
