What a ripping yarn! Just pure detection mixed with a bit of history. Love these new characters and the setting is great. Thankfully the hero remained chaste in keeping with the times. Very well done.......more

Excellent I love old fashioned police procedurals, I find them so much more interesting as the investigation is carried out using legwork and checking on whatever they are told.
