"Born in the tight-knit community of Brownsville, Tennessee, I've journeyed from Occupational Therapist to entrepreneur, author, loving mother, and CEO of Children Therapy Specialists (CTS). Guided by unwavering values—compassion, perseverance, and empowerment—I founded CTS in 2017, offering early intervention services that transform young lives. As an author, ""Dax Adventures"" and its Early Learning Workbook entertain and impart vital developmental lessons, fostering creativity and connections. Additionally, I ventured into plush toy invention9PLUSH Dax with removable backpack), bringing comfort to children alongside my book. My path has been marked by challenges, self-doubt, and triumphs, demonstrating that with self-belief and dedication, success is attainable. Participation in entrepreneurship programs Our Village United-Elevate MS, Her ProBONO, and Get Procured expanded my horizons. With a TEFL certificate in hand, I'm uniquely positioned to empower communities worldwide through language education. I envision a future where CTS continues to grow while making a lasting impact through community engagement. My journey is a testament to the transformative power of creativity, and compassion. I prefer summer over winter, and beach over mountains. I love a great backyard and singing in the shower. I have an insatiable curiosity for good food, foreign cultures, and traveling. Most recent Google searches include: flight tickets, perfect sunsets, and researching earth signs."
"30+ Years immersed in the world of storytelling My love of storytelling was rooted in my family. My father was a ballet dancer. My grandparents were drama teachers. And my love of music began when I met my first cello. Regardless of the medium, every note, every step, every sound and word was a story waiting to be told. A form of self-expression connecting with the world. When I’m not in the booth or on stage, I am wandering the halls of museums or hiking with my family, eagerly searching for the next adventure. Since discovering voiceover, I made it my mission to push myself to grow every day. I have studied with Larry Hudson, Connor Quin, Christi Bowen, Rick Sellers, Ronnie Butler, Actor Factory (Norman, OK), and Voices Carey (Dallas, TX), I am an active member of Audio Publishers Association and a member of WOVO. I study breath work with Rena Cook and continue workshops and education with industry leaders."
