About Samuel Bagster
Samuel Bagster
(1772–1851) was a noted London bookseller. The patriarch of his family, he
established a strong tradition of daily family Bible reading. His son Jonathan
and other members of his family drew from this heritage as they developed Daily Light on the Daily Path, which has
become one of the most beloved classic devotionals of all time. Bagster and
Sons, the family business, became a respected publishing house of Bibles and
Bible reference books in the nineteenth century.
About Jonathan Bagster
Jonathan Bagster (1813–1872) was the tenth child of Samuel and Eunice Bagster. He went on to become the editor-in-chief of Daily Light on the Daily Path.
About Christopher Glyn
Christopher Glyn trained as a stage actor at the Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama in the United Kingdom. After receiving Jesus, he forsook a career as a Shakespearean actor to devote his life to missionary work, with a personal calling to minister through radio.
