Imagery of Botswana was good to read. The character development wasn't really there for me. It’s a nice little book, and Mma Ramotswe is a strong, likeable character, but the plot was a bit dull. I expected more in depth, harder to solve murder and crime cases rather than ‘spy on my daughter because I think she’s got a boyfriend’ or ‘oh no, there’s a snake in my car’.......more
