Michael Morpurgo's telling of a story set in possibly Turkey or Iran, this is a lovely traditional tale with plenty of repeating language, humour and classic good vs evil, rags to riches elements to it. I like Morpurgo's writing style here and think he captures the essence of what makes fairy tales......more
