About Judy Cox

Judy Cox was born in San Francisco. She is the oldest of five children and enjoyed telling stories from an early age. She is a reading teacher at a small rural school and is inspired to write children's books by her own love of good literature, by raising her son, and by teaching her students.

This is a really fun read aloud for Cinco de Mayo. Mouse, from Cox's other books, follows his nose to find a fiesta at the park.
