I really liked this historical fiction novel that takes us behind the scenes of communist China and some of the atrocities the leaders of that country did to their citizens. I hope more people read this book and learn some of the things that went on. I had a hard time telling fact from fiction, but......more

The premise of this is amazing but the translation is pants. Really disappointing. I wish I could read the original as I think it would work so much better in Chinese. There was a lot that was roughly translated, translated without context... it just didn’t work.......more
