Synopsis

Charade is a 1963 American romantic screwball comedy mystery film, shot on location in Paris, produced and directed by Stanley Donen, written by Peter Stone and Marc Behm, and starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. The cast also features Walter Matthau, James Coburn, George Kennedy, Dominique Minot, Ned Glass and Jacques Marin. It spans three genres: suspense thriller, romance and comedy. About Peter Stone

Peter Stone has, for
the last two decades, covered a wide array of lobbying and campaign finance
issues in Washington. At National Journal, where he spent almost
eighteen years, he broke several scoops on the Jack Abramoff influence-peddling scandal. Stone started his career at the late muckraking magazine Ramparts, where he was one of the editors in the early 1970s. He has written for the Nation, the Atlantic, the New York Times, and the Washington Post and is the author of the Abramoff exposé Casino
Jack and the United States of Money. He lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.
