About Kristi Yamaguchi

Following her figure skating victories at the 1992 Winter Olympics and World Championships, Kristi skated professionally for more than a decade. This past year, Kristi Yamaguchi's Friends and Family TV special aired on NBC for the fourth straight year and she was a winner of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

About Susie Berneis

Susie Berneis is a versatile voiceover artist with numerous narration credits to her name. She has an ear for dialect and a love for the process of developing characters, which has been cultivated through her twenty-plus years of experience as a community and regional stage actress. Based in Ann Arbor (home of the University of Michigan, where she received her BA in English and theatre), she now takes great joy in playing all the characters she encounters in her narration.

About John Lee

John Lee is an illustrator from Memphis, TN currently living in Brooklyn, NY. He received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute, and MFA from SVA's Illustration as Visual Essay program. He's worked in a variety of markets including: storyboarding, advertising, editorial, book, fashion and web illustration, as well as live drawing and reportage. He has also taught illustration at the Memphis College of Art.

Cara ice skates but she hasn't found the right music for her upcoming performance. When she sees someone sitting on the side and looking sad, she goes over and asks them if everything's okay. She helps him and then she says to pass on the kindness. From there on, kids help each other and tell others......more

This is a lovely tale. Of course, the main character is a figure skater. I elected to read it for I was intrigued by a children's book with my first name in the title.
