I think this is the most disturbing Goosebumps book I've ever read. Ricky is really bullied in school. People call him "Sicky Ricky" and "Ricky Rodent" and they regularly beat him up, taunt him, get him in trouble, etc. He has no friends, he has no allies. His life is hell.
