Synopsis

Freed from the constraints of the Aliomenti, Will Stark creates a new group, an alliance of men and women committed to using their energy skills and technological advances to improve the lives of all.

It's an act of rebellion that won't go unnoticed—or unpunished—by the Aliomenti elites.

Treachery, a desperate search for the resolution of his most vexing personal concern, and an incredible network of underground facilities drive Will to his own desperate decisions. He'll figure out how to bring new life into the world . . . but the asking price is steep.

And permanent.

Another zip through 500 years of history - this time from the Alliance point of view following Will's progress in establishing and growing the Alliance. We end with Will being born (1995) and we have some explanations of things that are plot points earlier in the series. I have to confess that I'm no......more

Kept me wanting to know more. But quit the repetition. I love this series. The setting against real history brings the whole thing alive and plays into the many conspiracy theories of who really runs the planet. Only downside is the repeated summing up of the story so far. This way of writing gives t......more
