Book One:
Twelve year old volcano enthusiast Jack Newton joins the elite Ultra Academy, a secret SSSP training program for gifted youth. He and five other quirky student specialists face their first mission when alien Baltans infiltrate underwater volcanoes with a plan to overtake Earth. When the Baltans use mind control to turn the students against each other, the Ultra Academy must set aside competition and focus on combining their strengths to save the planet.
