About K.E. Lewis

K.E. Lewis was raised in Bishopville, South Carolina, where the weather is hot and the accent thick. He loves words, learning new things, and teaching new things. When he’s not immersed in his characters, K.E. is looking for great food, visiting somebody’s museum, doodling at his arts and craft station, or catching up on the shows he’s missed while creating stories. He resides on the border of both Carolinas, making frequent trips to the beaches, and often thinking of his namesake, the person who inspired him to write this book, his father.

Since graduating from the School of Visual Arts, she has been working with various publishers to create illustrations for picture books, while also designing MG/YA novel covers with Scholastic, where she works full time. Her illustrated works include My Best Friend's Bangles by Thushanthi Ponweera, which was a JLG Gold Standard Selection. Maithili enjoys the sun, ice-cream, and long city walks.

About Joshua Quinn

Joshua Quinn is an Atlanta-based actor, improviser, and voice-over artist. He’s had the pleasure of working on 3 audiobooks, with a 4th one on the way. Joshua is inspired by bringing stories to life, and loves any narrative with an ambitious protagonist who doesn’t quit when the odds are stacked against them. He’s also a fan of psychology and self-improvement books that instill their readers with that same indomitable mindset. His narration style can vary from youthful and dynamic, to a more serious and dramatic delivery. He has a passion for creating unique, grounded characters that help shape the world of the story in compelling ways, and is grateful for the audiobook medium, which allows for more accessibility to readers. He looks forward to bringing more authors’ visions to life!

I’ll start with the obvious disclaimer. As a single dad, I’m biased. Most of the books I read with my girls center around moms, so finding one that puts dads in the spotlight felt like a win before we even hit play. And it delivered. I genuinely related to a lot of the “because of dads” moments, and......more
