At only 215 pages (I would normally read this in one sitting) the book was a drag though and a lot of the scenes felt repetitive. I already knew that being a blessee comes with submission to the blesser, I just didn’t understand the extent of it. I really appreciate her honesty and not sugar coating......more

The title, BARE, befitted the storyline, especially its ending. The setting (time and place) for the events in Treasure’s life was real, believable and helped to bring the story to life. I found bare quite interesting. Jackie managed to show us the trauma and suffering young woman go through to maintain their lives. Be it supporting their families or supporting their need to be socially accepted on social media and among their peers. She revealed the dangers of living under a blesse......more
