A HAPPY PLACE BOOK CLUB PICK

I have lived on London's piss-soaked streets, I have lived with the sweet embrace of heroin, I have lived when I should have died. I have lied, I have thieved, I have stripped, I have tricked, I have loved, I have fallen, I have survived.

I could be your daughter, your mother, your lover - I could be you.

Characters were few and it was easy to remember who was who, and the roles that they played. Jackie’s style of wr......more

I found bare quite interesting. Jackie managed to show us the trauma and suffering young woman go through to maintain their lives. Be it supporting their families or supporting their need to be socially accepted on social media and among their peers. She revealed the dangers of living under a blesse......more
