Synopsis

For Arthur, home isn't what it used to be.

The threat his people are now obsessing about is gone, thanks to Merlin. And Arthur isn't the only one unhappy with their current assignment, which is partly based on the fact Merlin has vanished again.

However, you should be careful what you wish for.

Unknown to them, elsewhere in the galaxy, old tensions have exploded into war. Back in the galaxy's core there are those who need Arthur, and don't know it yet.

But are Arthur's ships and people going to be enough this time?

Arthur accepting he was THE Arthur was one thing. He was never really Arthur Hunter in his own mind, let alone the Arthur Pendragon of legend. Just Arthur.

But how much say in that he'll actually get, he’s about to find out.

About Timothy Ellis

Timothy Ellis lives on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia; where he battles with his cat for possession of his desk chair. Daleks do guard duty, and he keeps his sonic screwdriver next to his lightsaber and wand.

He spent his life reading and watching science fiction and fantasy, and has been playing space genre computer games since he used to be smuggled in to play the original text Star Trek game on a university mainframe, long before the PC or Apple appeared. Since 2004, he's written game guides for the Egosoft X Universe series, culminating in two versions of the X3 Handbook, and an X4 Shipyard building guide. He has also designed major mods for the various games, and dozens of mini mods.

He has been a farm worker, antique dealer, computer programmer, systems analyst, operations manager of a small retail chain, and retail store owner. He is now a full time author, who still does spiritual healer and helper work.

After leaving behind the corporate and business worlds, he was opened to his spiritual gifts. Now a Feng Shui master, Feng Shui led him to Buddhism, Karma, the Tao, and back to western spiritualism. Since 2006 he has been writing spiritual articles and helping people via spiritual forums and Facebook groups. His spiritual books include Personal Healing Using Basic Meditation, Life Harmony, Feng Shui in Plain English, 101 Tips for the John of God Brazil Experience, and the Wisdom of the Ages series. His own spiritual healing led him to writing novels.

His first novel, Hero at Large, spawning the long running the Hunter Imperium universe, brings together his love of the space genre, magic, spirituality, and cats. Now eleven series long, the universe covers three galaxies and 4100 years.

I read this book in high school. I'm sure I read it before the year I graduated, but since I can't remember the specific year, I'll just put 96. This book was fantastic when I read it in High School. It was truly a different perspective to the story of King Arthur than in books that I originally rea......more

3⭐️ The first person narration through (I think) 3 different POVs was very confusing Arthur’s story. There is a very descriptive scene of a woman trying everything she can think of to seduce a man that is trying to resist her…. Language: 1 a, 1 ba......more

A beautiful, epic treatment of the Arthurian legends, with several interesting twists that diverge from what I was expecting. The Celtic or Old English interpretations of several names made each new character a mysterious revelation, and the multiple narrators made the story a fascinating shift of p......more

OH.MY.GOSH. This is my absolute, most favorite book about King Arthur EVER written. It's not the magical, golden, dripping with gems story that you might be thinking. This is a soldier's story, a man who could discern the ebb and flow of a battle better than anyone every had. Arthur was a hero of ba......more
