Lawrence Millman (born January 13, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri) is an adventure travel writer and mycologist from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Grover Gardner, one of the audio industry's premier narrators, has recorded over 500 audiobooks and was named one of Audiofile Magazine’s Golden Voices of 1999. He is a member of the Woolly Mammoth Theater Company, Resident Director at Everyman Theater in Baltimore and has received 5 Helen Hayes Award nominations of his work.

He has done mycological work in places as diverse as Greenland, Honduras, Iceland, Panama, the Canadian Arctic, Bermuda, and Fresh Pond in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he has documented 321 different species.

How did Millman manage to find such remote spots in the world? It's not like you can advertise and have people tell you about these places.
