Synopsis

In this enlightening audio download, Gregg Braden and Deepak Chopra, M.D., explore the similarities between three seemingly different philosophies: quantum physics, Vedanta, and the Judeo-Christian teachings revealed by the Dead Sea Scrolls. Specifically, they address the Isaiah Scroll, the only scroll found completely intact-and the subject of Braden's book, The Isaiah Effect. Braden describes the "Isaiah Effect" as a power that can heal our bodies, bring about lasting peace, and perhaps avert the greatest conceivable tragedies-through the powers of prayer and prophecy. "As we feel the feelings, we awaken the possibilities that are already created," he says.

I tend to like Deepak Chopra's work. I don't always end up at the same conclusions that he does, but appreciate the way that he works. However, I think Chopra was out of his depth when it came to the subject matter of this work. Both contributors speak very matter-of-fact about an area of study that......more

I listened to this audioBook while cooking rhubarbs compote. Deepak Chopra speaks the introduction and the final part. The main part is a lesson from Gregg Braden, I knew most of it from other books by him. But it was a good refreshment. I highly recommend his book Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer:......more
