Alice in Mullah Land

Alice has always felt there was something she didn’t fully understand about her father, about the years he spent in the Middle East, and the silences he carried home. Those silences shape her life, quietly creating distance between her and the world around her.

After an accident, Alice wakes in a place called Mullah Land, a lush but unsettling world governed by sacred rules and quiet terror. Clerics preside. Citizens comply. Language bends meaning. Fear passes for virtue, and obedience is mistaken for faith.

As Alice moves deeper into this strange theocracy, she begins to sense the contradictions beneath its rituals, and the cost of seeing too clearly. Power wears many faces here, and survival often demands silence. But once clarity begins, it cannot be undone.
