This was a thrilling story. I had no idea the NYPD had to do and how they did it. This is told by a police office who was there and lived it. I liked the way he wrote. I think this is more of 2.5 stars because it was a quick read and it was interesting in places, but the problem is that the author, while clearly passionate and excited about his craft, is just not a great writer. All of the bad guys are one-note and it's clear that he hates fat people.......more
