Synopsis

3.5 stars - I'm hard pressed to think of another book that strikes quite this tone. Think a Loretta Chase type writing style paired with a Patricia Briggs-esque paranormal were plot. I'm not sure it was an all time favorite or anything (the beginning especially seemed to drag) but I'm glad I gave it......more

Overly complicated plot, tedious references to plays detracted from what could have been a good plot. The shifter H is forced to marry a widow - and the setting is Georgian, he's prince regent? I struggled to get into the story. Not the author for me.......more
