Synopsis

2021 Readers' Favorite Bronze Medal Winner Lady Isabella Beauchamp is beautiful, clever and rich. But she is not happy with the restrictions that Society has placed upon her. She is determined to prove that she can be so much more than what people expect her to be, even if it means that she is destined to become a spinster. Lord Ewin Colborne has been in love with Isabella since they were little children, but she only seems to hold contempt for him. When Isabella’s brother bets him that he won’t be able to find a suitor for his sister by the end of the Season, he jumps at the chance, giving him the perfect opportunity to spend time with her. When Isabella gives him a list of impossible demands for a potential suitor, Ewin knows that he needs to beat her at her own game. As he attempts to distinguish himself as the perfect suitor, nefarious forces work against him, determined to see him fail. Will he be able to convince Isabella that her love is greater than her fears, or is he destined to lose her forever? As the fifth novel in this series by author Laura Beers, this story concludes the Regency Brides: A Promise of Love series. This is a light-hearted series set in the Regency period. The series includes:
The Heiress (Ladies of Miss Bell's Finishing School)
A Clever Alliance
The Reluctant Guardian
A Noble Pursuit
The Earl's Daughter Other series by Laura Beers include The Beckett Files, Sweet Regency Matchmakers and Regency Spies & Secrets.
