The best yet. I enjoyed this one much more, appreciating that her trials were not all combat. Ruby's relationships are evolving but I still wish that progression was more a part of the story itself. I hate that we're made to assume development is happening in the background we don't see.......more

Magic City Chronicles trilogy I just blitzed through the three books and enjoyed every word. Good characters, developed nicely. Good cast of secondary characters as well. Plenty of action. Good story lines. Ruby is a good character. Concerned and a trifle overreaching. Hope we don’t have to wait too......more
