Steven Paul Jobs (February 24, 1955 to October 5, 2011) was an American businessman, inventor, and investor best known for co-founding the technology company Apple Inc. and NeXT. The following recording is from a February 18th 1981 television interview. At the time, Steve Jobs was twenty-six years old, and Apple had gone public only two months earlier—on December 12, 1980, through its IPO on the NASDAQ stock exchange.
