About Karen Gottschang Turner

Karen Gottschang Turner received her master's degree in Asian studies from Yale University and went on to earn her Ph.D. in history from the University of Michigan. She was a professor of history at Holy Cross College for many years.

Interesting book. The author lived in Viet Nam for a couple of years and collaborated with Vietnamese friends to investigate and write a story of the participation of women in the "American War."
